Lisa Bauer has extensive experience working full time and freelance as an Art Director and Graphic Designer for many Chicago, Colorado, Florida, New York, San Diego and Santa Fe based advertising agencies, corporations, design firms, newspapers, and publishing companies.
In addition to professional experience in the Graphic Arts, a full-time resident of Lafayette, Colorado. She has formally studied watercolor painting for 5 years with Michael McGuire. Her art portfolio includes renditions of the Lady of Guadalupe, and her unique artistic presence with “Full Moon Over Ojo Caliente”, available as a watercolor, and commercialized as a greeting card available from the artist and small mercantile shops in Northern New Mexico.

Lisa attended Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI as a Fine Arts Major and graduated from New York City’s Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) with a Fashion Illustration degree.
In addition to her artistic pursuits, she is a practicing Certified Herbalist, Board Certified Polarity Practitioner, Cranial Sacral Therapist and Licensed Massage Therapist, working at various spas and hotels in Santa Fe, Northern New Mexico, Jacksonville Beach, Florida and Boulder, Co.

NEW MEXICO ACADEMY OF HEALING ARTS – Santa Fe, New Mexico
Worked in the capacity of Project Manager, collaborating with school director and
teachers to redesign all marketing materials. Expanded advertising to include all print
and email blasts that targeted a broader market base, increasing student enrollment.
SANTA FE REPORTER – Santa Fe, New Mexico
In the capacity of Freelance Art Director, collaborated with team of photographers, editors, writers and graphic artists to design and format the weekly newspaper, juggling tight deadlines with minimal errors.

Partnered with various customer home building vendors, using complex content, to create web-based advertisements showcasing their products. Met with all vendors, collected all of the client’s ad materials, and discussed layouts. Created clean, dynamic ads that were integral to increasing customer awareness of vendor products, leading to increased sales.

Partnered with the CEO and Marketing department to increase customer awareness of Body Wellness Center. Recreated and rebranded existing marketing materials to updated, energetic visuals, by incorporating dynamic photography, color palettes,
